There's no television where I'm staying in London, and the papers are fixed on some Russian spy being poisoned, so I just found out now that Robert Altman passed away yesterday.It's a great loss to Cinema, and I really hope he gets at least a posthumous nomination for the incredibly entertaining A Prairie Home Companion this year at Oscar.
