I can appreciate the French and their love for poodles, but I'm fairly sure Standard Poodles do not make a good seeing eye dog. Just a hunch. In fact, I would say that on the top 5 worst seeing eye dogs, Standard Poodle ranks somewhere under Dalmatian and Chihuahua.

If there's one thing more dangerous than a Standard Poodle seeing eye dog, it's a Midwestern guy speaking broken English ensuring "c'est d'accord" to cross the intersection.
