in search of jean lauredent...

Today was the first time I've ever noticed the date of production and name of the person who made my white paper lunch bag.

Apparently, this is a common thing for paper bag factories.  Giving a sense of pride and ownership about their work, they get to add a signature type thing on the bottom of the bag.

Naturally fascinated, I googled Jean Lauredent and found this page called the Brown Paper Project, which mysteriously photo archives all the bags the web-master (I assume) receives.

Is this like Trainspotting?  Someone collects all the different manufactured paper bags and eagerly collects more variations?

I could be down for this new hobby.  But, first to find Jean Lauredent.  His bags are impeccable.
