This time of year, when I'm not looking for those elusive Monster Cereals impossible to find in the New York area, I'm searching for the next best Pumpkin Ale or Seasonal Octoberfest.
Currently enjoying this evening a PUMPLE DRUMKIN from the Nantucket Cisco Brewers. It's not as sweet as others in this genre, but it does have a great pumpkin after-taste. I prefer my Pumpkin Ales on the sweeter, bolder side. This is not that.
Probably best paired with a nice slice of apple pie or, hey, pumpkin with fresh cool whip.
