I can't think of a more depressing way to wish someone Merry Christmas than with the Brooks Brothers "Tie Tree."What's even worse, is it's suggested as a centerpiece of "your holiday party." At the end of the night, you send each guest home with a gift of a Brooks Brothers tartan tie as "a lasting reminder of the 2005 holiday season." After you've downed your 12th egg nog and offended your office-mates, it's always good have a parting reminder of corporate conformity. Just enough to say, "back to work on Monday bastards."
