With all the studios spending money this season on things like "High School Musical 3" for Best Picture or "Speed Racer" for Best Supporting Actor, I want to point a little attention to a lesser known movie this year that is on my top ten list, and if there's any justice in this strange industry, should sweep the Oscars.The Fall was directed by Tarsem Singh, who is best known for his music videos including the groundbreaking "Loosing My Religion" for R.E.M. It is out now on DVD, and if you're looking for a movie to completely take you by surprise, it is this. It is visually stunning, no doubt, but it also weaves a magic spell on the viewer.
