I can't wait to see Beyonce as Etta James in the new movie Cadillac Records. Her recording of "At Last" is dead-on soulful, even if the drum tracks a bit too modern.I'm sure the movie won't get into Miss James' best work, which has been done in the past 20 years, mostly with Island Records. My favorite tune of hers will always be "Out of the Rain" from 1990's "Stickin' to My Guns" album. If haven't heard Etta post-Chess Record days, give this one a listen...
