Far be it from me to judge a movie by its trailer, but Oblivion, the latest reboot of Tom Cruise's career sounds a tad familier.
In a destroyed future Earth, one man must carry out an operation to revive the planet's remaining vital resources. His mission is almost complete when he encounters a female stranger from a downed spacecraft.
So, basically this is Wal*E, right, with Tom Cruise both the female Eve and the Male Wal*E in mission. Anyway, it's very derivative of it. And, yes, the graphic novel that Oblivion is based on came out first, but it came out after Wal*E.
Just sayin.'
